Health Emergency Camps on Nawroz
On the Occasion of National and Regional Festival – Nawroz , most of the people travel to Balkh Province in order to celebrate the first day of the new solar year, also being known as Celebration of Red Flower.
Nawroz (meaning New Day) gets back into the history and is coming from the ancient Ariana, where for the first time this day was celebrated by Kiumars and Kanishka Kings.
To celebrate the Nawroz of 1388, Afghanistan received guests from its neighboring countries Iran, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The government of Afghanistan had also taken precautions in regard to the security and safety of the visitors to Mazar-e-Sharif city.
